Versatile laser power and energy meter
FieldMaxII is an affordable, versatile, easy-to-use power and energy meter platform designed for a variety of applications ranging from field service to production test applications.
FieldMaxII features a large, easy-to-read backlit digital LCD display with additional simulated analogue-like bar display. The intuitive user interface offers button-driven menu and cursor control for simple operation. The measurement range is mainly determined by the sensor characteristics. Nevertheless onboard analysis of mean, min., max. and standard deviation statistics is already implemented. For use in laser safety applications the area function for density measurements (J/cm2 and W/cm2) is exceptionally useful.
The meter includes an USB PC interface as well as an analogue output. The FieldMaxII PC application software supports trend charting, tuning, statistics and logging data to a file. A LabVIEW instrument driver with ActiveX control is provided to support custom software development.
