New self-supporting, dismountable laser safety barrier "Roll-Up" module

In order to meet the increasing need of portable and flexible large area laser protection, LASERVISION is offering from now on a new flexible barrier solution for temporary laser safety. The system is ideal to be used i.e. during service, maintenance or demonstration of laser systems.

The new system is characterised by an unique flexibility combined with high stability. Thelaser safety Roll-Up consists of one basic module of the new lightweight certified laser safety curtain SHELTER. The curtain element is 2x0.94m in dimension and is hold in place by two metal profiles and put upright by means of a special metal expanding system. The design of the lower holder and the support structure on the back side keep the whole system securely in place without the need of any additional fixation. The user is able to decide to mount the laser side to the inner or outer side of the structure.

As with the original, stationary laser safety curtain also multiple Roll-Up elements can be connected together with Velcro strap forming a larger enclosure or laser safe area. Due to the high flexibility without a rigid frame it is even possible to connect and form stable 90° corners.

The Roll-Up features the same high protection levels as the conventional laser safety curtain SHELTER (with eyelets) but offers considerably more flexibility and mobilty. It is the ideal laser safety solution for temporary use in all fields of laser technology.
