The world premiere of our new model BACCARA was on the MEDICA show 2010 and was a great success. Now the frame is available for delivery. The new frame features 2 discrete filters which can be made of absorbing glass or plastics. The filters of the BACCARA frame do have the same base curve with moderate curvature as our well established frame style VISION, featuring a large field of view. Nevertheless the smaller design results in a much lower weight. The carfully developed frame is completely out of the critical laser range, therefore a metal insert could be avoided. This causes a further reduction of weight, which is essential especially during long wearing times, as they might occur i.e. during medical treatments or laser surgery.
