The laser safety filter Type 43 is a based on a clear, plastic filter substrate and features a special reflective coating. Due to this combination of thin plastic substrate and an interference structure the filter is very light weight. The laser protection is based only on reflection of the laser light. This results directly in an extremely good day light transmission (VLT) of approx. 80%. Due to the reflective coating the colour recognition is unlimited and very good. The laser protection filter is CE and DIN GS certified and available in two different frame styles.
