The laser safety filter Type 93 is a clear plastic substrate with reflective coating. Therefore the filter is extremely light weight. The laser protection is based only on reflection of the laser radiation. Due to this design, the filter is characterised by an extremely good day light tranmission of approx. 80% and an unrestricted colour recognition. The laser protection filter Type T92 is CE and GS certified. Main application is protection against medical Nd:YAG lasers at 1064nm. Type T93 has a higher protection that Type T92. The filter is available in two different frame styles. Please calculate required protection levels before using laser safety filters and compare with the filter provided.
