The laser safety filter Type T1K02 is a light gray absorbing mineral glass filter without additional coating. The protection is based on absorption of the laser light within the bulk material. The laser protection filter has an extremely good daylight transmission of approx. 70% which is comparable to that of a normal window. Colour recognition is unlimited. The filter type T1K02 is especially suitable for IR lasers starting from 950nm up to 2200nm. Additionally it protects against other IR lasers, like Er:YAG and CO2 lasers. Please calculate required protection levels before using laser safety filters and compare with the filter provided.
