The laser safety filter Type T24 is a pink absorbing mineral glass filter (rare earth) without additional coating. The protection is based on absorption of the laser light within the bulk material. The filter Type T24 has a good daylight transmission of approx. 48%, the colour recognition is nearly unrestricted. The laser protection filter is especially suitable for frequency converted Nd:YAG lasers (532nm). The filter Type T24 is available in two different frame styles.
