Frames
A pair of laser safety glasses basically consists of two components: Filter and frame. Even though the filter is the more important component (as it enables you to see safely) and determines the price, one should never underestimate the importance of the frame.
MEDICA NEWS: GRAY IPL-Filter
On the MEDICA 2011 LASERVISION presents it's brand new gray IPL-spectacles with absorption levels Shade 3 and Shade 5. Compared the the commonly used dark green filter, the new dye directly results in a much better and more comfortable colour visibilty and recognition. Therefore also long term use during treatments is possible without any constraints. In addition to the well established flex-temple a new version of this frame with conventional temples is available from now. The active, patent pending cabin window is available in two different dimensions of the window size - small and large - and has been successfully tested with a 16kW disc laser.
