The plastic laser safety window 000.P1P12.2601 (6mm, OD6+) developed by laservision is an alternative to the conventional green laser safety glass windows. It features protection levels within the wavelength areas 940-1400 (DIRM LB6) as well as RB1 alignment protection at 660-700nm. The filter possesses a very good color recognition and a 20% VLT. This blue laser safety window is user-specific available up to a size of 3,000 x 2,000mm. The thickness is 6mm. This window is CE marked with 5 and 10 sec. of test time.
The laser safety window type P1P12 (6mm, OD6+), consists of a blue, absorbing plastic material with anti-scratch coating as a standard. The protection is based on absorption of the laser light within the bulk material. The window has a day light transmission of approx. 20% and therefor it is lighter and a little weaker than the comparable P1P10 window. The laservision laser safety window P1P12 is CE certified and available in different sizes and two different thicknesses (3mm – 000.P1P12.2001 and 6mm – 000.P1P12.2601). A broadband laser protection exists from 660nm up to 11.500nm; especially against disc- and fiber lasers with an OD6+ at 940-1400nm (DIRM LB6). It also exists an additional alignment protection between 660 and 700nm. Please calculate required protection levels before using the laser safety window and compare with the filter provided.
