Requirements for laser welding cabins
Depending on the type of application, for class 3R, 3B and 4 lasers it must be ensured that no persons are endangered. With class 4 lasers, the risk of fire should not be underestimated. Sensible protection is often only possible with a laser safety cabin. In addition to the correct signage and a suitable interlock system, an extraction system and the associated supply and exhaust air openings must also be considered.
When selecting the materials for BARRIER and laser safety windows, it is important to ensure that they meet the requirements of EN 60825-4.
