The laser safety filter Type T2K02 is a light grey absorbing mineral glass filter without additional coating. The protection is based on absorption of the laser light within the bulk material. The laser protection filter has an extremely good daylight transmission of approx. 70% which is comparable to that of a normal window. Colour recognition is unrestricted. It is a broadband filter in the NIR and IR range. The filter has an excellent daylight transmission of 70%. By dispensing with lamination, the filter has a low weight with simultaneously high protection levels between 980nm and 1030nm and between 1030nm and 1400nm. It has no lamination and it is in many different frame styles available: F20, F46, R01, R02, R10, R14 and R17. Please calculate required protection levels before using laser safety filters and compare with the filter provided.
