The laser safety filter T1K17 (thickness 6mm) is light grey absorbing mineral glass filters with an additional reflective coating. The protection is based on absorption and reflection of the laser light. The laser protection filter has an extremely good daylight transmission of approx. 65% at a thickness of approx 6mm which is comparable to that of a normal window. Colour recognition is unlimited. It protects against other diode, IR- disc-Nd:YAG and CO2 lasers. The T1K17 offers protection levels within the spectral ranges 980nm - <1300 DIRM LB7, at 1030nm - 1400 D LB7 + IRM LB8 as well as >3000nm bis 25,000nm DI LB4 + R LB3Y + M LB4. Please calculate required protection levels before using laser safety filters and compare with the filter provided. The filter T1K17 is available with the frame styles R01 and R14.
