The laser safety filter T2K05 is a light gray absorbing mineral glass filter without additional coating. The protection is based on absorption of the laser light within the bulk material. The filter T2K05 has very good daylight transmission (VLT) of approx. 75% which is comparable to that of a normal window. Colour recognition is unlimited. The filter can be used very well for the laser wavelengths used in telecommunications (850nm-11,500nm and 1625nm). By dispensing with the additional lamination, the filter is significantly lighter and the glasses are therefore more comfortable to wear. The filter has no lamination. The laser protection filter is CE certified and available in 7 different frames: F20, F46, R01, R02, R10, R14 and R17. Please calculate required protection levels before using laser safety filters and compare with the filter provided.
