The laser safety filter T1K03 is a light gray absorbing mineral glass filter without additional coating. The protection is based on absorption of the laser light within the bulk material. The filter T1K03 has very good daylight transmission ((VLT) of approx. 66% which is comparable to that of a normal window. Colour recognition is unlimited. The laser protection filter is especially suitable for IR lasers starting from 950nm up to 1400nm. Additionally it protects against Er:YAG and CO2 lasers and in the whole range between 1400 and 2800nm. Please calculate required protection levels before using laser safety filters and compare with the filter provided. The filter is available in the R01, R14 and R17 frames.
