The P1P23 laser safety filter was developed specifically for the requirements of hand-held laser welding. Similar to the P1P10, it consists of an absorbing plastic that has been optimized for excellent color vision. The filter's daylight transmission is approximately 0.8%. The P1P23 laser safety filter is certified according to EN 207 CE with interruptions in the visible range for the wavelength range of 660-1400 nm and is particularly characterized by its high protection levels in the IR range. The filter is available in visor form in the FS1 frame and, thanks to its additional certification according to EN ISO 16321 with Shade 6, is particularly suitable for hand-held laser welding and offers UV protection for the face. To ensure adequate laser safety, please calculate the protection levels required for your laser and compare them with the information on the laser safety visor before using the visor.
