The laser protection Equine Mask ELM.F5P01.5002 (size L) protect the eyes of large animals such as horses and ponies dependably from NIR-laser radiation (800-1100nm) during laser procedures with laser devices at a maximum irradiance of 100 W / cm² for 100sec.

The laser protection masks are available in 3 sizes (S, L and XL). They can be ordered individually and selected in the appropriate sizes. Each hood is equipped with a Velcro fastener and thus guarantees easy putting on and taking off as well as a firm and secure fit during treatment.

As with humans, laser protection is absolutely essential in this area. You have the option of spraying the Equine mask with pressure using a hose and a nozzle. Alternatively, you can wash the complete mask in the washing machine, but only use detergent-free soap and cold or warm water. It is recommended to wash the masks by hand for best results.

Another tip to clean the velcro is to use a regular lint roller from the drugstore.

How to find the right size:

Measurement 1: from right pupil across forehead to left pupil // Measurement 2: from right pupil to jaw, underneath and up to left pupil.

  • S = to approx. 20 cm (measurement 1) and approx. 61 cm (measurement 2)
  • L = approx. 20 to approx. 23 cm (measurement 1) and approx. 61 cm to 69 cm (measurement 2)
  • XL = approx. 24 cm to approx. 28 cm (measurement 1) and approx. 66 cm to 81 cm (measurement 2)
