Product information "active laser safety window kit"

The active laser protection window kit is particularly interesting for OEM customers due to the availability of various sizes as a kit. It consists of the laser shield in sandwich structure, the laser spy as a sensor and the required mounting material for the sensor. In addition, the respective disc is offered together with the sensor and a matching adapter plate. The complete laser protection window kit is CE certified (test class T1) and suitable for the wavelength range between 880 and 1100nm up to an line density of 42 x 10e9 W/m2.

When installing in the laser system, it must be ensured that the edge of the laser protection screen is mounted or enclosed in a light-tight manner. The active laser safety window offers greater safety in the automatic, unobserved operation of high-power laser systems. If laser radiation hits the disk with sufficient power, it is coupled onto the sensor integrated in the disk. As a result, the laser is switched off immediately before dangerous radiation can escape through the window.

The elimination of the frame makes integration even easier, e.g. in a machine housing. This makes it possible for the first time to integrate this technology into the existing design concept of the machine or machining center.
